Taking advantage of having the animals in the ad-hoc hoop house barn for a few days waiting out the cold and cleaning up from the past couple of years of debris. This pen was originally intended to be a holding pen and winter barnyard, but needs a bit more work to make it really useful. It’s nice to see some progress being made and hopefully this week of downtime during the Christmas season will be ample opportunity to catch up on some long overdue jobs.
The cows have left a nice quantity of manure in here that I have been piling with spoiled hay and should hopefully make a good amendment to the garden beds.
